Director (Operations) NTPC Shri Ramesh Babu V visited to North Karanpura on 11th -12th December’2022. During the visit, he inspected various plant units like coal handling plant, reclaimer, control room, boiler, switchyard and one of its kind air-cooled condenser.

He also interacted with senior officials of North Karanpura team and reviewed ongoing progress at the plant.

Shri Ramesh Babu expressed satisfaction with the progress of the project and instructed team North Karanpura to ensure that the plant is commercially operational in the coming months. He also visited the plant reservoir and barrage area. During the visit, the Raw Water Pump House was inaugurated by Director (Operations), ED (FM), Shri Dilip Kumar, CGM (OS), Shri S K Ghosh, CGM were present.
